A casino guest is suing for injuries sustained from an alleged slip and fall on a casino delicatessen floor.
Nya Thomas filed suit against the Casino Queen Inc. on Oct. 21 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she slipped and fell on a foreign substance left on the casino deli floor on March 20, allegedly injuring her ulnar styloid process.
The complaint states that the defendant was negligent by failing to remove the hazard and warning guests of the hazard.
The plaintiff is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages, plus costs of litigation. She is represented by Brian Stokes of St. Louis.
