A man says he was hurt when the car he was riding in was rear-ended in East St. Louis.
Wromero Dones filed a lawsuit against Ruthie McDonald Aug. 23 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Dones was a passenger in a car driving east on State Street in September 2011. Near the intersection of 39th Street, Dones says McDonald crashed into the back of the car he was riding in.
Dones accuses McDonald of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and court fees.
He is represented by attorney Blake G. Meinders of Belleville.
