A Centralia man is suing an Edwardsville insulation company after one of its employees allegedly crashed into him while trying to make a left turn on a Clinton County road.
Garren Forth filed a lawsuit July 24 in Madison County Circuit Court against Dewal Wuebbels and Spray Insulation & Contracting Inc.
According to the complaint, Forth was driving east on Illinois Highway 161 in September 2011. At the same time, Wuebbels was driving a Spray Insulation truck west on Highway 161 and allegedly tried to turn left across oncoming traffic and into the driveway of a house. Forth claims Wuebbels failed to yield the right-of-way and, instead, crashed into the side of Forth's car.
Forth says he was hurt in the crash and accuses Wuebbels and his employer of negligence. He asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees. Forth is represented by attorney Ely Hadowsky of St. Louis.
