An Edwardsville woman is suing the driver of a car that she claims rear-ended her while driving in St. Louis.
Erika Freitag filed a lawsuit against Sherra Clanney June 4 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Freitag says she was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt west on the Poplar Street bridge in June 2011. Near the entrance of Interstate 70, Freitag alleges she was hit from behind by a Toyota Highlander being driven by Clanney.
Freitag contends Clanney was negligent in causing the crash. She asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees.
