A St. Clair County man is accused of running a red light in Belleville and crashing into another driver.
Jason Plake filed a lawsuit against Keenan D. Lockett March 18 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Plake says on January 13 he was driving east on Illinois Route 161 and entered the intersection of Frank Scott Parkway. At the same time, according to the complaint, Lockett was heading south on Frank Scott Parkway.
Lockett allegedly failed to stop at the red light at the intersection of Route 161 and crashed into Plake.
Plake accuses Lockett of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court fees.
