An Illinois man says he was rear-ended while driving in Godfrey.
David W. McGuire filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 against Ronnie E. Lott in Madison County Circuit Court.
McGuire was driving east on West Delmar Avenue in December 2011, according to the complaint, when he was allegedly hit from behind by a car being driven Lott.
McGuire claims he was hurt in the crash and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court fees.
He is represented by attorney Patrick G. King of Alton.
