Spencer Fane attorney Robbins named 2013 'Top Rated Lawyer in Intellectual Property'

ST. LOUIS - Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP has announced that Glenn K. Robbins,  II, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, has been named a "Top Rated Lawyer in Intellectual Property" by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell and American Lawyer Media.

Robbins is a member of Spencer Fane’s intellectual property and technology practice group. He devotes his practice to all aspects of intellectual property law, including representation of clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; prosecution of patent and trademark applications; appeals, patent and trademark litigation; inter partes actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; licensing; client counseling; and copyright matters.

To identify top rated lawyers for 2013, LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, which is a preeminent information services company for the legal profession, tapped its database of Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings to discover lawyers rated by their peers to be "AV Preeminent" – the highest Peer Review Rating available.

Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings are driven by confidential opinions of attorneys and members of the judiciary surveyed by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell to provide reviews of lawyers of whom they have professional knowledge.

Robbins has earned an AV Preeminent Rating annually since 2004. Martindale-Hubbell American Lawyer Media is teaming with LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell to publish the 2013 top rated lawyer distinctions in the March edition of The American Lawyer magazine and other publications.

Robbins is also a member of Spencer Fane's life sciences practice, where he has drafted patent applications for methods to promote hard and soft tissue growth in mammals; ophthalmological devices; arterial and venous blood flow devices, pharmaceutical and drug particle delivery systems; mycotoxin detection and control systems; and other work relating to immunochromatographic assay tests.

He is admitted to the bar in Missouri and Illinois, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a board associate of the Jefferson National Parks Association, a member of American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Robbins has been recognized as a St. Louis Business Journal "Top Patent Attorney" and is listed for both patent law and trademark law expertise in Best Lawyers, a highly respected peer review guide associated with U.S. News & World Report magazine.
