A former Godfrey aviation company is accused of failing to pay back a $50,000 loan.
Michael Wall filed a lawsuit Jan. 24 in Madison County Circuit Court against Todd Helmkamp and Aaero Aviation Services.
According to the complaint, Wall loaned Aaero Aviation $50,000 in three installments from October 2009 to February 2010. Then in February 2012 Aaero Aviation was forced into bankruptcy in Madison County Circuit Court. However, Wall says the company defaulted on its loan and now owes him more than $64,000 with interest.
Wall accuses the company and Helmkamp of breach of contract and unjust enrichment. He asks for a judgement of the remaining balance of the loan plus interest and court costs.
