An Edwardsville woman is suing a driver she says crashed into the back of her vehicle.
Diana Sikora filed a complaint against Theresa Watkins on Dec. 17 in Madison County Circuit Court.
On Jan. 19, 2011, Sikora says she was driving her vehicle north on Illinois Highway 159. Watckins was driving behind Sikora and allegedly crashed into the back of her car.
Sikora contends Watkins was negligent for failing to operate her vehicle with reasonable care and caution, failing to keep her eyes on the road in front of her and failing to drive at a reasonable and proper speed. As a result of the crash, Sikora says she suffered permanent injuries.
Sikora is asking to be paid more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses along with court costs.
