A St. Clair County woman says she was hurt when she was rear-ended while driving in Fairview Heights.
Tawni Collins filed a lawsuit against December Cook Oct. 2 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Collins says she was exiting Interstate 64 at the junction of Route 159 in October 2010 when she was hit from behind by a car being driven by Cook. Collins asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical care costs, loss of income and court fees.
She is represented by attorney John H. Hustava of Collinsville.
