A poll of 1,247 likely voters in the 12th Congressional District on Oct. 10 shows Republican Jason Plummer ahead of Democrat Bill Enyart 44-42.

The poll was conducted by We Ask America.

Green Party candidate Paula Bradshaw polled 3.36 percent.

Eleven percent of those polled were undecided.

Recent campaign finance disclosure figures show that Plummer out-raised Enyart in the third quarter, having taken in $427,622 compared to Enyart's $424,380.

In recent weeks, Plummer and Enyart have been saturating the market with heavy TV and print advertising.

As of Sept. 30, Plummer had $232,904 on hand in his coffers. Enyart had $130,553.

A poll being conducted by the Madison County Record shows that Bradshaw is overwhelmingly popular in the question: Who is likely to win the 12th Congressional seat? She shares 77 percent or 1,678 of the 2,185 votes cast as of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Enyart shares 13 percent or 278 votes; Plummer shares 10 percent or 229 votes.

Editor's note: An earlier report indicated that Bradshaw had not been included in the poll. The Record regrets the error.
