A Madison County man is accused of failing to pay back a loan of nearly $500,000.
First Clover Leaf Bank filed a lawsuit June 27 in Madison County Circuit Court against Donald S. Sallee.
According to the complaint, First Clover Leaf Bank loaned more than $498,000 to Sallee in December 2010. The bank claims Sallee has since defaulted on the loan and now owes more than $502,000 plus interest.
First Clover Leaf Bank asks to be awarded the balance owed, in addition to the costs of the lawsuit.
Attorney David L. Antognoli of Edwardsville represents the bank.
