A Madison County woman is asking to be paid more than $50,000 by a driver who allegedly hit her while driving in Edwardsville.
Denisha T. Cepaitis filed a lawsuit Feb. 22 against Lyndal H. Colburn in Madison County Circuit Court.
Cepaitis says she was driving west on North Main Street in August 2011 when Colburn, who was also driving west, allegedly made an abrupt lane change and crashed into her.
Cepaitis accuses Colburn of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court costs.
Attorney Gregory M. Tobin of East Alton is representing Cepaitis.
