Attorneys who reside in the Third Judicial Circuit may apply for an associate judge position coming available due to the expiration of Judge Ellar Duff's term on June 30.
Applicants must submit two original applications on the prescribed application form to the Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts.
A 30-day period within which to file applications will begin June 20.
Applicants may obtain the necessary forms in Chief Judge Ann Callis's office, Madison County Courthouse, 155 North Main Street, Suite 405 in Edwardsville; from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts or from the Supreme Court's website: www.state.il.us/court.
Applications may not be submitted electronically or by fax.
All applications must be received by the Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts by 5 p.m. on July 20.
