A St. Clair County woman is suing the driver of a car that allegedly rear-ended her.
Vickie L. Hendricks filed the lawsuit against Leah J. Slechticky in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Hendricks says she was the passenger in a car that was being driven east on Illinois Route 50 in June 2009. Near the intersection of Greenmount Road in the city of O'Fallon, Hendricks says the vehicle she was in was hit from behind by Slechticky.
Hendricks accuse Slechticky of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages plus court costs.
Attorney Stephen R. Clark of Belleville is representing Hendricks.
