A Centreville woman is suing the driver of a car she was riding in and the driver of a car that allegedly crashed into them.

Alberta L. Wilson filed the lawsuit April 13 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Kennetta R. Harris and Nundi M. Vaughn.

In the complaint, Wilson says she was a passenger in Harris' Saturn while driving on Industrial Parkway in May 2009. She says the Saturn was stopped in traffic when Vaughn allegedly rammed her Pontiac into the back of it.

Wilson accuses Harris and Vaughn of negligence for failing to avoid the rear-end crash. She is asking for more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses, loss of income and court costs.

Wilson is represented by attorneys Mark C. Scoggins and Anthony P. Gilbreth of Columbia.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case No. 11-L-0197.
