An area construction supply company says it is owed more than $176,000 from a landscaping company.
Swansea Building Products Corp. filed a lawsuit Feb. 1 against Erosion & Drainage Products Inc. in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Swansea agreed to sell Erosion & Drainage Products various merchandise totaling more than $176,000. Swansea claims, despite multiple requests to settle the balance, the Chesterfield, Mo. company has refused to pay.
Swansea accuses Erosion & Drainage Products of a breach of contract and asks to be reimbursed what it is owed plus interest and court costs.
