An East St. Louis woman is suing two drivers she blames for an East St. Louis crash she says left her with multiple injuries.

Sharon Brown filed a lawsuit Nov. 30 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Stacey L. Perkins and Jesse J. Johnson.

Brown says she was a passenger in Johnson's car in December 2008. As Johnson merged into westbound traffic on State Street in East St. Louis, he allegedly collided with Perkins' car, driving in the same direction.

Brown accuses Johnson of making an unsafe lane change and Perkins of driving too fast. She is asking for at least $100,000 in damages from each driver to pay for medical bills, lost income and court costs.

Attorney Ronald J. Foster Jr. of East St. Louis is representing Brown. They ask for a jury trial.
