A St. Clair County man is suing the driver of a car that allegedly crashed into him at a Shiloh intersection.
James E. Hursey filed the negligence claim against Robert F. Braswell Jr. Dec. 20 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Hursey says, in October 2010, he was driving west on Thouvenot Lane in Shiloh. According to the complaint, Braswell was driving south on Hartman Lane near the intersection of the two roads. Hursey contends the defendant failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into him.
Hursey is asking the defendant to pay more than $50,000 for medical costs, lost wages and court fees.
