A popular clothing manufacturer won a judgment worth more than $350,000 in Tarrant County Circuit Court in Texas against the maker of work clothes and gloves, Fortress Products.
Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company, which manufactures Dickies clothing gear, won the judgment Oct. 22. The final summary judgment was filed in Madison County Circuit Court on Nov. 9.
Dickies won the judgment for actual damages of $349,259.72, plus pre-judgment interest of $15,595.84. In addition, it won attorney's fees of $36,911.21.
A Tarrant County judge also ordered Fortress Products to pay an extra $25,000 in attorney's fees if Fortress filed an appeal and lost the appeal.
