Lebanon nursing home sued over lack of bed siderails
A Lebanon man claims he suffered facial injuries after a Lebanon nursing home failed to install siderails on his bed.
Stephan Baldovski filed a lawsuit April 16 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Lebanon Care Center.
Baldovski claims he resided in the center, which failed to install siderails on his bed and failed to install a personal alarm on his bed while he lay in it.
Because of this, Baldovski became sick, sore, lame, disordered and disabled; suffered facial injuries; incurred medical costs; suffered disability; and experienced pain and suffering, according to his complaint. Baldovski does not specify how the incidents leading to his injuries occurred.
Baldovski seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
James R. Williams of Williams, Caponi, Foley and Eckert in Belleville will be representing him.
