A Wisconsin bank has filed suit against a couple who it says has defaulted on a loan.

Associated Bank claims Mark S. and Sheila Ady executed a note on April 16, 2007, but defaulted on the required monthly payments.

"That as of January 7, 2010, there is due and owing the Plaintiff the sum of $80,108.38 principal plus interest under the terms of said Note, Disclosure and Security Agreement," the suit filed Jan. 18 states.

In addition to the money it says it is due, Associated Bank is seeking interest, $1,000 in attorney's fees and costs.

J. Gregory Scott of Heavener, Scott, Beyers and Mihlar in Decatur will be representing it.

St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 10-L-16.
