A bank says a Troy couple owes it more than $180,000 after they stopped making payments on a promissory note.
Ryan and Angela Cox are named as defendants in a suit filed by Regions Bank. In its complaint filed Aug. 3 in Madison County Circuit Court, Regions Bank says Ryan and Angela Cox executed a promissory note for $160,500.
According to the complaint, Ryan and Angela Cox failed to make payments on the note and now owe $185,591.30.
In addition to the money it says it is due, Regions Bank is seeking attorney's fees and costs.
