A Madison County man has filed suit against an Illinois construction company, alleging the company failed to build his home as promised.
Gary G. Kerr claims he hired Rick Mueller Construction on April 14, 2005, to custom build a home at 5337 Richland Woods Drive in Alton.
However, Rick Mueller Construction failed to construct the home in a good and workmanlike manner, according to the complaint filed Feb. 25 in Madison Circuit Court.
Because of the way the home was constructed, Kerr claims he incurred damages in excess of $50,000.
Although Kerr has demanded Rick Mueller Construction fix the home's problems, the company has failed to do so, the suit states.
Kerr is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs and other relief the court deems just.
He is represented by Michael P. Steeno of Miller and Steeno in St. Louis.
