Rita Fansler has filed suit against Donna Jean Fansler, alleging Donna destroyed Rita's good credit.

Over a period of time Donna caused Rita to develop a bad credit reputation and used Rita's credit to secure goods and services for herself without Rita's authority, according to the complaint filed Dec. 31 in Madison County Circuit Court.

Because of Donna's actions, Rita suffered great physical and mental anguish and pain and spent substantial amounts of money to defend herself, the suit states.

Rita also claims she was greatly hindered and prevented from following and transacting her affairs and businesses.

She is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.

She is represented by John P. Geisman of Highland.
