Gateway Regional Medical Center has filed a breach of contract complaint against two St. Louis residents, alleging they failed to pay a contract for medical services.
Represented by Ronald C. Miller of Miller and Steeno in St. Louis, Gateway claims Charles and Donna Cotton agreed to pay for medical services, but have failed.
"Although due demand has been made upon the Defendant(s) for payment there remains a balance of $67,440.97 due and owing Plaintiff," the complaint filed Nov. 25 in Madison County Circuit Court states.
In addition to the balance due, Gateway is seeking $500 in attorney's fees and costs.
