Karen Bronow has filed suit against Wiesmann Sales and Auction Center, claiming she was injured after she tripped over a dolly.

Bronow tripped over a steel or iron dolly while she was visiting Wiesmann Sales and Auction Center in Highland on July 30, according to a complaint filed Oct. 16 in Madison County Circuit Court.

She claims the center was negligent because it failed to provide adequate lighting in between the building and parking area, failed to mark a walking area in between the building and the parking lot, allowed a dolly to be in the area and failed to place signs warning of the dolly.

Bronow is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.

Jeffery A. Cain of Freeark, Harvey, Mendillo, Dennis, Wuller, Cain & Murphy in Belleville will be representing her.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 08-L-965.
