A December 20, 2006, car accident is the subject of a personal injury suit filed by Paul Steingruby, III in Madison County on Oct. 9.
Steingruby claims he was driving on Interstate 270, near the intersection of Route 3, when Tyler Yates struck his vehicle from behind.
He claims Yates was negligently operated his motor vehicle by failing to keep a proper lookout, failed to maintain a proper distance, failed to maintain a proper speed and failed to stop his vehicle.
Steingruby claims the collision caused head, neck, shoulder and back injuries that caused and continue to cause pain and discomfort, medical expenses and lost wages.
He is seeking a judgment of at least $25,000.
Richard Bender of Clayton, Mo., represents Steingruby.
The case is awaiting mandatory arbitration.
