Collinsville Ice & Fuel has filed a breach of contract complaint against AA Turfmasters in Madison County Circuit Court, alleging AA failed to pay for purchases.
In a complaint filed Aug. 18, Collinsville Ice & Fuel alleges that beginning on Nov. 21, 2007 through July 11, they sold various landscaping rock and other materials to AA.
According to the complaint, AA agreed to pay Collinsville Ice for their purchases totaling $12,150.57, but has failed and refused to do so even though demand for payment has often been made.
Collinsville attorney Richard Cain represents Collinsville Ice & Fuel.
In addition to the balance due, Collinsville Ice is also seeking interest accruing after July 11, plus all costs of the suit.
The case will proceed to mandatory arbitration within six months.
