Kari Berg of Collinsville became one of the newest members of the Heneghan and Associates, P.C. engineering team in January.
Berg received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and is a 1996 graduate of Collinsville High School.
Heneghan and Associates is an engineering firm initially established in Jerseyville in 1986 by Dean P. Heneghan.
The firm provides a broad range of engineering services for transportation, storm sewer systems, detention basins, water/wastewater, and land planning. Land surveying, permitting, dam inspections, and funding assistance are other services provided by Heneghan.
More than 20 municipalities, county agencies, water districts/companies, and the state of Illinois rely on Heneghan and Associates for services.
Berg is currently working on site development for Gateway FS in Waterloo and park improvements for Lenzburg.
Heneghan and Associates serves a large region in central and southern Illinois with offices located in Jerseyville, Godfrey, Columbia, and Centralia.
