Roza Gossage

Belleville attorney Roza B. Gossage will receive the 2007 Board of Governors Award from the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) on June 22 at the organization's annual meeting at The Abbey in Fontana, Wisc.

The award is given to ISBA members for significant service to the profession and the public.

Gossage has played a critical role in the development and presentation throughout the state of the ISBA's 10-hour continuing legal education (CLE) program, "Education for Attorneys in Child Custody Matters," according to an ISBA press release.

She is a dedicated member of the Family Law and Elder Law Section Councils and the ISBA's Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and has developed a reputation for presenting excellent CLE programs, her seven nominators wrote.

"Roza has given tirelessly to the work of the association," said Andrea M. Schleifer, a member of the ISBA Board of Governors.
