A Fairview Heights McDonald's restaurant is being sued by a woman who fell on slick steps leading from the building on Aug. 12, 2006.
Narva Sayles is seeking in excess of $50,000 for injuries to her mouth and left knee, according to a complaint filed June 1 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
She is represented by Marchall R. Hoekel of Fox, Goldblatt & Singer of St. Louis.
Sayles claims the steps were not reasonably safe because they were covered with debris. She claims the restaurant should have known of the dangerous conditions.
