Louis Robin filed a personal injury suit against US Bank in Alton claiming he tripped over a piece of concrete that runs the length of a sidewalk while walking toward the bank's entrance.

According to the suit filed March 14 in Madison County Circuit Court, Robin injured his right eye, nose, head and right knee.

The incident took place March 16, 2005.

Robin, represented by Samuel A. Mormino, Jr. of Mormino, Velloff, Edmonds & Snider of Alton, is seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages.

He claims the bank failed to warn visitors of the concrete extension and failed to paint or otherwise warn visitors of the concrete extension attached to the sidewalk.
