Vicky Metz, as special administrator and representative of the estate of Blanche Rexing, deceased v. Rosewood Care Center of EdwardsvilleMetz claims her mother died on Aug. 27, 2005, from acute toxicity from oxycodone and opiates because Rosewood allegedly failed to administer proper doses of medication as ordered. Metz is seeking damages in excess of $100,000, plus punitive damages.
