Gary Prasuhn filed suit in St. Clair County Circuit Court Sept. 22, seeking damages against Sears and Rexon Industrial Corp. for injuries he received while using a Craftsman table saw.

Prasuhn claims Sears and Rexon breached their warranty of fitness for a particular purpose by failing to warn of specific dangers, including the danger of “kickback" and failed to provide him an instruction manual and comprehensive warning.

According to the complaint, Prasuhn injured himself, losing the partial use of his right hand.

Prasuhn is seeking damages in excess of $100,000. He is represented by James Stiehl of Swansea.
