McQuay claims that the heart attack and blood clots he suffered were caused or significantly contributed to be caused by Vioxx. McQuay is seeking a fair and just amount of actual damages in an amount to be proven at trial plus punitive damages in a fair and reasonable amount to punish and deter Merck and others from engaging in wrongful conduct plus any other relief the court deems just and proper.
