SPRINGFIELD-- Madison County trial lawyers have injected half a million dollars into a brand new political action committee expected to fund a last week advertising blitz for Democrat Supreme Court hopeful Gordon Maag.

'Justice for All PAC' was organized on Wednesday, Oct. 20 and accepted its first contributions on Monday, Oct. 25, according to Illinois State Board of Elections records.

Godfrey asbestos attorney Barry Julian plunked down $50,000 today for the new PAC.

An additional $105,000 came from the East Alton-based Justice for All Foundation.

The committee's chairman is Mike Fultz of Granite City and its treasurer is George Machino, Jr. of East Alton.

Fultz is president of the United Auto Workers local #3206. Machino is president of the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor.
