A Home Depot customer is suing the Collinsville store after she slipped and fell on a pool of water in the garden section.
According to a lawsuit filed March 9 in Madison County Circuit Court, Susan T. Rolens is suing Home Depot U.S.A. Inc., doing business as the Home Depot in Collinsville, for a fall she suffered on May 29, 2013. She claims she slipped in a pool or collected water on the floor in the garden area.
Rolens seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Tobin of Pratt and Tobin in East Alton.
