A St. Clair County doctor and medical treatment facility are denying allegations in a lawsuit accusing them of injuring a patient during a cyst removal surgery.
Plaintiff David L. Womble filed his lawsuit on Sept. 19 against Dr. Kosit Prieb and Vascular & Hand Surgery Ltd.

The defendants answered the complaint on Nov. 17 denying the allegations against them.
Womble seeks more than $100,000 in damages for medical costs and court fees.
Circuit Judge Vincent Lopinot is presiding over the case. He scheduled a status conference for March 16 at 9:00 a.m.
