A St. Clair County man says he was hurt while riding his motorcycle after another driver allegedly turned in front of him on a Caseyville road.
Dennie Suchman filed a lawsuit against Jasmine Pierson on Oct. 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Suchman was riding his motorcycle north on state Route 157 near the intersection with Tucker Lane on April 11. Suchman alleges Pierson, who was driving south on 157, turned left onto Tucker Lane in front of Schuman. The motorcyclist says he was unable to avoid colliding with Pierson's vehicle.
Suchman accuses Pierson of negligence and seeks more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost income and court costs.
