A woman says she was hurt when the car she was riding in was hit by another driver making a u-turn in Swansea.
Jamie Weik filed a lawsuit Oct. 10 against Anthony Venditto in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Weik says she was a passenger in a car heading east on Illinois Route 161 on Aug. 9 when they were hit in the side by a car being driven by Venditto, who was trying to make a u-turn. Weik accuses Venditto of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, lost wages and court fees.
