A Mascoutah man says he was hurt when he was thrown from the car he was riding in.
Andrew N. Towns filed a lawsuit against Jennifer L. Kerwin Oct. 1 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Towns says he was a passenger in a Chevrolet Impala being driven by Kerwin in October 2012. As they were driving east on Highway 177, Towns claims he was ejected from the car. The lawsuit does not include any additional details about how it happened.
Towns accuses Kerwin of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and costs of the lawsuit. Attorney Michael L. McGlynn ,of Belleville, represents him.
