An Alton woman is suing a Grafton man she says backed his pickup truck into her parked car while she was inside.
Kathleen M. Buck filed the complaint against Jon W. Shrimpton on Aug. 26 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Buck says she was stopped in her Pontiac Grand Prix on Oakwood Avenue in Alton on Dec. 1, 2012, when Shrimpton allegedly backed his Dodge Ram pickup truck into the Pontiac.
Buck says the collision caused injuries to her neck, back and wrists. She accuses Shrimpton of negligence for allegedly failing to keep a proper lookout and failing to avoid the crash.
Buck is asking for more than $50,000 in damages plus court costs. Attorney Keith Short of Edwardsville represents her.
The case number is Madison County Circuit Court case 14-L-1164.
