A woman is suing after sustaining injuries in a spa.
Elizabeth Beelman filed a lawsuit Aug. 8 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Pure Natur L.L.C., citing negligence.
The lawsuit states Beelman was in the spa at 6540 N. Illinois St. in Fairview Heights on Aug. 10, 2012, receiving a facial. During the facial, hot water spilled on Beelman and she sustained severe burns on her arm, according to the complaint.
Beelman is seeking damages in excess of $50,000. She is represented by attorney Troy A. Bozarth of HeplerBroom L.L.C. of Edwardsville.
