A St. Clair County woman is suing over claims she was injured on the wet floor of a Fairview Heights restaurant.
Burttina Henson filed a lawsuit July 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Cheddar's Casual Cafe, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Henson was at the Cheddar's on Sept. 29, when she slipped on liquid on the floor and sustained injuries. Cheddar's is accused of failing to provide a safe premises for its customers.
Henson is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented in the case by attorney Matthew P. Young of The Kuehn Law Firm in Belleville.
