To the Editor:
Thank you Madison County Board Member Helen Hawkins for your kind letter of April 14 on the occasion of my retirement. It has truly been my pleasure working and visiting with you in the course of our respective positions.
No one can say that the residents of Madison County District 16 are without honest hard-working representation. You have been and will continue to be the voice of the people in your district.
Additionally, you have been one of the "go to people" for South Roxana. The help you have been to our community has not gone unnoticed and will not be forgotten.
Thank you again for everything you have done.
