A St. Clair County man is suing over claims he was injured in a car collision caused by another driver doing a U-turn.
Jack C. Merritt filed a lawsuit April 2 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Lisa Y. Murphy, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Merritt was driving south on Illinois Route 157 in Caseyville on April 10, 2012, when Murphy did a U-turn in front of him, causing a collision.
Merritt is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Bob L. Perica.
