Crowder appointed to ISBA committees

Madison County Circuit Judge Barb Crowder was recently appointed to the ISBA Standing Committee on Legislation.


She also was appointed as secretary of the Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services and as a member of the Civil Practice and Procedure Section Council.


The ISBA’s Standing Committee on Legislation bears the responsibility for committee execution of legislative programs, according to a release from the chief judge's office.

The Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services was created to study, recommend, promote and conduct activities of the ISBA for the delivery of legal services to the public, including but not limited to legal assistance to the indigent.

The Civil Practice and Procedure Council’s purpose is to enhance the knowledge and professional capabilities of lawyers and to disseminate current information such as proposed legislation and case law on civil practice.
