Earnest Conrad, 70, who works the day shift at the St. Clair County parking garage, dons a Green Bay Packers cap in support of his favorite football team days before the second round of NFL playoffs. Conrad has been a cashier for seven months but has worked for the County’s maintenance area for several years. He said he’s been a Packers fan “for so many years.” On a damp and dreary Thursday, Conrad said, “I have a great time with the people. I’m friendly with everyone and very courteous with everyone, because that’s the only way you can stay in business.”
