A Madison County man is accused of rear-ending another driver in Fairview Heights.
Danette Dietz filed a lawsuit against Harold G. Rehg Sept. 21 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Dietz says she was driving east on Longacre Drive and stopped for traffic at the intersection of Highway 159, when she was hit from behind by a car driven by Rehg. Dietz accuses Rehg of negligence for allegedly failing to slow for traffic. She asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills, loss of income and court costs.
